Upcoming Events

Wine Dinners

About once a quarter, Basilico hosts Wine Dinners: special opportunities to taste some of Giampaolo’s favorite wines, explore regions of Italy, or expressions of a certain grape, and on occasion, he’ll bring out some wine from Washington, Oregon, or other parts of the world. Each course will bring a dish from the region that pairs with the wine, and you’ll have the opportunity to bring some of these wines home with you at the end!

Winter Wine Dinner: February 2nd, 2025 @ 5pm

“Up and Down the Alps: or, What do we eat after skiing?”

$118/person (all-inclusive with tax and gratuity)

Giampaolo has put together some wonderful dishes meant to warm you from the inside and replenish all those calories burned on the slopes (or from just shivering), paired with a white and some reds from the Northern regions, as well as one red from Puglia (because, why not?). We'll start with a dry Lambrusco, noted for its distinct floral scent, and finish with a very special Vin Santo made with Sangiovese grapes.

Book your table by January 23rd, and receive one $20 gift certificate per guest to return on any weeknight.

  • We are always happy to accomodate dietary restrictions, provided you inform us at the time of booking.

  • This event is pre-paid, and fully refundable up to 48 hours before the event. After that, we are happy to send you a gift certificate for the full amount to return another day.

Cooking Classes

About once a year, Giampaolo hosts a cooking class for small group of about 10-12 people. He will teach a technique from Italian cuisine, such has making your own pasta by hand, stuffing ravioli, getting the perfect risotto, and each person gets to participate in preparing a full, delicious dish. Afterwards, sit down together, and enjoy the meal you’ve created, and take home a printed copy of your recipe.
